Working Notes

To understand Mendel design, started to convert SolidEdge "part" files in "2D dxf" files.

Don't know if it's the proper place and i'm a total beginner about 3D and 2D design.

Please check what i'm doing and give me some advice. Check my english too...

Drawings

The files in Mendel_Drawings.zip are a bunch of pdfs. We need to render the pdfs as .png type image files (using image magick or pdftk?) and embed them in a series of pages. E.g. x_axis_belt_clamp.pdf is a pdf in the zip, we need x_axis_belt_clamp.png, and then either have Mendel/Drawings be one long image dump or have it be a list of pages like: Mendel/x_axis_belt_clamp

Usability

How do we integrate a bunch of images with our formal set of files, which is buried here: https://reprap.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/reprap/trunk/mendel/mechanics/solid-models/ And is there a good way for users to upload their changes to that system?
