Western Australia is where I live. I am doing Design and Technology, Information Technology, and Digital Media in grade 10 at school (scrapping IT and Digital Media next year as the proprietary software is driving me insane! Why can't we learn Gimp and Blender and other awesome software on Linux at school?).

I have a whole shed full of electronic parts that I have scavenged from road-side collections, I just love to recycle 'junk', hence the name.

Currently building my first Mendel RepStrap out of MDF wood, and using salvaged electronics (except for the Arduino Mega). I am sticking to the design constructing each reprap part using a sanding disk, drill press, dremel, jigsaw, hacksaw, and glue.

Build status:

Still need to finish Y axis, extruder, and install opto-flags, motors, electronics, and belts. Also need to build Stepper controllers.

You will find my in-construction website that will eventually hold all of my other projects at recyclojunk64.comxa.com. I will start on the website when I finish the Mendel and get around to it.
