Introduction

Prusa Mendel is simpler remix of normal Mendel. I want to use bushings instead of regular bearings, right now, my prototype is using two bearings, one for X and one for Y axis. I still need to to design Z-axis but I want to use two motors instead of one as on original. Exact bushings I use are Igus Iglide J they are working pretty smooth but I really should get bearign rods instead of regular cheap-o :-) <videoflash>DNRapg2gaPg</videoflash> <videoflash>OchanU6KD3Y</videoflash>

Where I can get actual files for parts

I haven't released them yet, and I wont till I have at-least all three axis working. But if you are really interested mail me at [email protected] :-)

X-End-Motor

Parallelnes of rods is ensured by the teardrop type of holes for rods plus securing bolts from bottom (there is nut bracket inside the part). By pushing the rods upside, they will self center.
