Instale a barra lisa do eixo Z passando pela presilha barra-suporte de motor (rod clamp) e pela presilha barra-barra (bar clamp) que já estava montada na barra roscada que atravessa o a base da estrutura (frame) da impressora no meio. Os X em vermelho indicam um erro: as barras lisas da plataforma Y deveriam estar sobre as barras roscadas.

Essa barra deve estar totalmente vertical, por isso aproveite para alinhar as outras presilhas. Repita o processo para o lado oposto da estrutura.

Instale os motores do eixo Z em seus respectivos suportes utilizando parafusos M3x10 com arruelas.

Atarrache uma porca M8 numa das barras roscadas, insira o x-end e outra porca. Rosqueie as porcas até que elas se encaixem dentro do x-end. Repita o processo para o outro x-end.

Coloque dois rolamentos lineares M8UU em cada x-end em seus respectivos lugares, fixando-os com parafusos M3x20, porcas e arruelas M3.

Monte os coupling set utilizando parafusos M3x20, porcas e parafusos M3, tomando cuidado para que as aberturas estejam pareadas (maior-maior, menor-menor). Fixe-os em nas extremidades de cada um dos eixos, deixando a parte mais plana para baixo.

Retire as barras lisas verticais colocadas anteriormente e fixe as barras roscadas que acabaram de ser montadas nos pinos dos motores do eixo Z. Reintroduza as barras lisas verticais agora fazendo com elas perpassem os rolamentos lineares.

Take the clear plastic tubing and cut it into two equal pieces. Holding this with pliers gently warm them with a hair dryer (or heat gun, or in hot water). Once they are warm, slide them down the shafts of the two Z axis steppers until the free end of the shaft is level with the end of the sleeve.

Temporarily remove the Z motor mounts from the top of each side of the frame, place these upside down on the Z axis steppers, attach to the steppers with M3 10mm screws and M3 washers. Re attach the Z motor mount assemblies to the frame. (Alternatively, it is possible to complete this step without removing the Z motor mounts, by placing the stepper motors on top of the Z motor mounts and screwing the M3 10mm screws with M3 washers up into the stepper motor)

Take the two different sides of the couplers and assemble the with M3 20mm screws, M3 washers and M3nuts, test assemble and screw all the way together so that the M3 nuts become fully trapped in the nut shaped holes. Then disassemble. Take the 210mm lengths of threaded rod and trap this inside the coupling as shown in the photo. Tighten just enough so that the rod is held in place. Add a M8 nut as shown in the photo.
