Description

With higher grade plastics the main problem is layer adhesion.

Because these plastics have a higher glass temperature, the ambient temperature needs to be higher for a good layer adhesion.

Old way of getting around this

With most printers this is done by printing in an enclosed chamber with a higher room temperature (an oven).

New method of getting better layer adhesion between printed layers on FFF type of 3D printing machines
