The first 3d-printed boat was just built using the world's largest 3D printer. The boat was unveiled alongside the printer at the Univesity of Marine.
The printer has the capacity to print objects 100 feet long, 20 feet wide and 10 feet tall. That makes it six times bigger than second largest 3D printer currently in use.
Building a boat that size by conventional methods typically tales months. The new 3D printer speeds up the process.
