K'nexStrap, a K'nex Repstrap
I always wanted to build a RepRap Prusa, but I couldn't get my hands on parts (yet). I tried something out in K'nex (see below), to print out Prusa's parts. I almost immediately broke up the whole thing, because it was to heavy for the motors. As souvenir on those build times, see next video <videoflash type="youtube">Gg21KHjvsHo</videoflash>
Good to know : the standard hole in the k'nex pieces fit m6 rod (that's also why I wanted to make a sort of huxley'k'nex)
Inspiration
First thought
I started building a Y axis, with yellow half circles to form a path. I used 3 small wheels, one without rubber, to form a big wheel. Then attached a motor, and placed it over the yellow parts: File:Http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/7003/knexwheel.png
