The Bonsai Repstrap
Release status: unknown
The Bonsai Repstrap is a development by by Peter "Sci" Turpin. It aims to be a small, lightweight 3D printer that can be used for making the parts for larger full repraps.
A recent attempt to make the basic structure easier to ship without having to outright dismantle it may mean the Bonsai can be repeatedly folded up easily. While not the original goal of the project, this may have the added bonus of making the first readily portable 3D printer.
