Description
We want to minimize the amount of cabling in our system for various purposes. (one is to reduce EMC)
When using a toolchanger in your system you do not want to have cables going to each tool independently. Furthermore we want to be able to control the static tools
Method of solution
To minimize the amount of wires going to the dynamic toolholder and tools, we construct a toolholder that delivers the electric signals to the dynamic tool (the extruder that is in use).
We also make sure that the static toolholders have the electric signals that are needed for the parked tools. (like heating signals)
This way we do not have any cables going to each tool independently, and minimize the amount of cables in the system.
