Hello.

welcome

Dear MattMoses,

Welcome to RepRap.

Thank you for making the RepRap wiki a better place.

In particular:

Thank you for putting together the Wiki tutorial.

I added a link to it in RepRap help#Wiki Help.

Again, welcome. --DavidCary (talk) 09:55, 10 November 2013 (PST)

Printable Part Sources

Hi Matt,

I was hoping you'd be able to add a site to the list of sites that allow the download of parts. I created the entry but didn't have enough edits under my belt yet for it to be allowed. If you're able to help out, I'd really appreciate it! I couldn't include the link to the site here either, it's just https:// pinshape.com

Thanks, Nick

OK, done. -MattMoses (talk) 21:22, 13 April 2015 (PDT)

azsmz

http://reprap.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=AZSMZ_Mini&oldid=178200 ...

Page is obviously advertising ... author has said they don't care about it not being open-source, and only uses the page as advertising for their product.

If they have useful information about their product to publish, they can publish it somewhere else, and link to that info from the wiki ...

On top of that, the AZSMZ is a *very* shitty board, it's got a catastrophic track record of USB disconnects ( USB traces go behind the stepper drivers ... ), so actually pointing users at it is not doing them a service ...

I explain my reasoning on these edits in this forum thread MattMoses (talk) 08:16, 15 February 2017 (PST)

Spam

Am I able to edit here? I tried to create my own user page, but the site told me "This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe your action was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: Prevent SPAM on User Pages". It seems like a user ought to be able to edit their own user page. Furthermore, it's not clear how to "inform an administrator". I'm hoping this here is how you do it, but don't have much hope that it's gonna make it past the filter.
