SVG wrapper

I had been considering using the SVG file format for a wrapper of a 3D file. THe SVG file is a vector image file that you can open in browsers. The specifications of the file format does not yet include 3D, but 3D data can be extrapolated or a 2D perspective is shown as a "thumbnail" and the 3D is hidden in the file's recesses (the image is created using XML).

SVG images are supported by most browsers, although SVG-in-HTML (embedded in the web page) is by most popular modern browsers. If you want a multi-file wrapper, Perhaps the various objects can be placed in the SVG file, and the thumbnail shows them all in place. The XML can separate items.
