Bill of materials

Printed parts

  • y axis clamps

Printer Frame

  • Four pieces of T-slot aluminium profile length: 400.
  • Eight pieces of T-slot aluminium profile length: 360.

Enclosure

  • A sheet of acrylic 360 x 360Z x 3 mm (for the back).
  • A piece of plywood 400 x 400 mm (for the bottom).
  • 360 mm self-adhesive led strip.

Vitamins

Rods (usually steel)

  • Two rods Φ8, length: 380.
  • Two rods Φ8, length: 352.
  • 2 (Two for now) rods Φ8, length: 390.

Bed

  • Two pieces of 20 mm wide T-slot aluminium profile length: 250.
  • 1 of 20 mm wide T-slot aluminium profile length: 133.97
  • One piece of 2 mm thick glass, size: 214 mm x 214 mm.
  • One piece of 5 mm thick wood size, size: 257.665 mm x 214 mm.
  • One 12V pcb heating element, size: 214 mm x 214 mm.
  • Two springs 0.8x6x20 (make sure the springs fit your bed screws; if you need to go bigger, go!).
  • One 8 mm leadscrew of length 300 mm.
  • One 8 mm leadscrew nut.
  • Four bulldog clips thick enough to clamp 15 mm.
  • One thermistor compatible with Marlin :electronics:

Screws and Bolts

  • Enough M5 in all lengths between 8 and 20mm (around 100 in total).
  • Enough M3 in all lengths between 10 and 50mm (around 200 in total).

Rest

  • Six 3 mm bore, gt2, timing idlers for 6mm belt width (20 teeth).
  • Two 3 mm bore, gt2, timing idlers for 6mm belt width (toothless) or four 623zz flanged bearings.
  • Two 5mm, gt2, timing pulley for 6 mm belt width (20 teeth).
  • Two 5x8 mm flexible couplers.
  • 4 LM8UU linear bearings or 1 of them if you use the long variant LMxLUU (z-axis).

  • One NEMA17 motor (75Ncm torque) (this is for extruder drive, direct; for a geared extruder drives 40Ncm should be enough).
  • One ramps shield.
  • One LED power supply unit (12V).
  • A USB extension cable (to connect the 3D printer to a computer).
  • Cables* (we need lots. we need to research on required gauge. we will need all colors. - 22awg 0,34mm).
