RUG/Australia/Brisbane

There are a couple of groups in Brisbane that have had Reprap related activities.

"Hackerspace Brisbane" is the most successful, with, one fully operational "Sells" Mendel owned and run by the group, which has printed three children so far, all for other individuals of the group. There is also a CloneDel that has recently begun printing which is a Prusa Mendel replicated via Polymer cast parts instead of printed. So, in total, there are 5 operational RepRap's in or very close to the Group. We have also had a couple of Mendel printers pass through here that arrived with problems, and left working! :-)

• If you live in Brisbane, and want a RepRap, you can join the Hackerspace, and then ( with a little training) print your own set of parts with our printer, for just the cost of the plastic ( under $50 of plastic + a months membership of $60 ). And the bonus is that if you have problems, there are *lots* of people who can help!
