I came to 3D printing in 2015 with a second hand i3 which didn't work. I rebuilt it and compiled firmware and got it working. The learning curve was steep but rewarding. Since then I've built kits, modified machines, designed a microdelta with an incredibly simple frame, and built a high precision kossel XL.

I have been interested in z-probe technologies and their limitations for some time and have tried almost all of them, before deciding that it would be worth taking the work of Leadinglights and Moriquendi and develop it into a Hotend Piezo-electric probe. This proved to be extremely viable and the work continues.
