Universal paste extruder, consists of a syringe on which is pulled by a servo.

I suppose, you could generalize the idea of the Universal paste extruder to any liquid. Any implementation of that idea would then have relevant parameter ranges, it could operate in. For instance like vicosity, max particle size. (Though chemical properties may matter too)
