This would deflect the hot plume around the plastic, so the main source of heating of the carriage would be conduction up the hotend body.--Buback 15:50, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

distance between the z rods

The wiki says that the distance between the z rods is 30 mm, but in the stl-file the distance between the holes seems to be 28,5 mm. Could you update the stl-files or do I have to tweak them alone to make them fit on my printer?
