Talk:RepRapPro Huxley extruder drive assembly

After assembling the extruder I had a problem with the shaft of the motor blocking the free rotation of the large gear. Possibly the design of the stepper motor had changed and the shaft was longer than the one for which the plastic parts were designed?

The easiest solution I found to this was to print out a second spacer to place between the motor and the main block.
