The sE1X is a revamp of tjb1's E1X which got rid of the need for laser cut parts on a Prusa i3(variant). It was then approved upon by LoH of the reprap IRC community by adding a lulzbot 300^2 build plate which would fit(barely) without any serious modifications needed. There was one issue I found though and that was that if you wanted to actually access all 300mm's of X and Y, you needed to make the frame longer in each direction.. This is where papabur took over and not only lengthened the frame in each axis, but also changed the positioning of the Z axis motors after reading a article on 'Accuracy vs. Precision' explaining the pro's and con's of top mounted Z motors vs bottom.
