Introduction

Printrverse is a student run web printing service based out of the 3D printing course offered at Penn State University (EDSGN497J: Open Source Source 3D printing). It exists as an interface for students from other courses to submit models that they would like 3D printed. The "customers" are predominantly freshman students in an introductory engineering design course. This service is offered at no cost to the students. Once a model is submitted, EDSGN497J students will print the part at their discretion (usually within days) and have it delivered to the customer. Printrverse automatically updates the customer with the status of the print via email.
