This page is for information about the PSU Unit Purple, which is assembled and undergoing testing. This unit will follow the design of the Ohm. All of the printable parts are printed in PLA and assembled. The purple printer was constructed by Matt R, Deanna M, Bill F, and Yaqi Y.

Date Modification / Problem
3/20/13 The Purple Printer was sold.
2/12/14 The carriage was replaced due to bad gear mesh.
12/05/13 The new board is being flashed. Bad RAMPS/Arduino, will not connect.
11/16/13 Consitantly printing good prints now. Could possibly use a fan for cooling-Crosby
10/11/13 Working pretty good. Table needs leveling and x axis is slightly out of alignment but still does decent prints.-Crosby
Unknown The filament hole in the extruder body needs aligned with the metal plate and hot tip. Disassembly of the extruder will be necessary.
