The Malthus (previous known as the Mini-Prusa and Hacklab RepRap) is a new RepRap RepRap design from the people at Hacklab.to. More info to come if and when we get it working.
This machine is still evolving so documentation will be sparse until it is closer to completion.
Features
- Parametric Scaling - the build_volume = [x,y,z] variable in configuration.scad allows you to build a Mini-Prusa with the build volume of your choice (within reason)
- Less Parts - a reduced vitamin and printed part count compared to the Prusa-Mendel
Development
Mechanical design is currently on the Hacklab.to github:
We plan to move this to the RepRap github once it is proven to be capable of 3d printing.
