Low Density Polyethylene

A very cheap, flexible thermoplastic, most commonly used to make plastic bags or bottles. At room temperature, LDPE is already above its glass transition temperature, so technically it can be extruded with high pressure. However, this is not recommended. When printing with LDPE, do not heat the tip over 80C (176F). Doing so will cause the polymer to break down and burn.
