What it means

Very simply, full documentation means all the CAD files, text, photos, firemware, electronics, etc are on the RepRap wiki. Also, that people are behaving decently regarding citing each others work, etc.

Why is it good?

This should be self-evident. It is difficult to imagine times when a project has too much documentation. In such a case, what is necessary is organization.

Contraindications

Being pedantic sticklers about Full Documentation has the negative unintended effect of driving away RepRap user-developer contributions. Argument Kills Uploads.

When do we insist on it?

We should only insist on Full Documentation when someone starts trying to fork crucial RepRap projects and technologies.
