DIY CNC Lathe
While seaching for ideas I came across some plan to do a simply cnc conversion to a C1, C2, C3 mini lathe.
From the website. The C2 Mini lathe kit was designed specifically for the mini lathe that many tool resellers sell including Harbor Freight, Grizzly, Homier, and many more.
One of the main features of this kit is that it is easily attachable and detachable, without modification to the actual machine.
I am now offering plans for this kit free of cost. I will include a Readme file with instructions on how to cut all your peices, along with DWG and DXF drawings of each part and PDF files of those DWG/DXF drawigns if you don't have a way to view DWG or DXF.
Link to the files you will need. http://www.jfettigmachines.com/plans.zip
I have started collecting all the parts to convert my C3 mini lathe to cnc, I will be use nema 23 motor, controled by a 3 Axis TB6560 control board I picked up from China. I have mach3 setup on my old M700 laptop and tested the board.
(I will post more picutres as I start on this project)
