Description

When 3D printing in a heated enclosure, you want your extruders to be watercooled.

When you have a toolchanger, you do not want every tool/extruder to have tubes of watercoolant going to it.

Method of solution

To minimize the amount of tubes and wires going to the dynamic toolholder and tools, we construct a toolholder that is watercooled. The toolholder then cools the dynamic tool (the extruder that is in use).

We also make sure that the static toolholders are watercooled, and thus draw heat from the parked tools, keeping the parked tools cool.

This way we do not have to cool each tool independantly, and minimize the amount of cooling tubes in the system.
